Home made Chick-fil-a Chicken

I have not been able to keep my posting coming due to a death in the family so here I am getting going again.
I found this one was still in my draft section and thought why not!! Its the perfect pick-me-up for a get-together.
I found when you are in good company your mood improves drastically.

Well summer has begun! While the kids are out of school I like to find easy left overs to make.
That way they can grab something quick and still love it. My daughters favorite place it Chick-fil-a.
She is not a big meat eater but she does love her chicken. Over the years I have learned how to make
their yummy chicken at home. Then I like to add a little zing to it also.
First off you will need:
Boneless chicken breasts
Pickle Juice
Milk
Powdered Sugar
Flour
Salt and or Garlic Salt

First you want to cut up your chicken in to 1 in cubes. Or if you would rather have a chicken sandwich you want to make it thin and the size of you bread.

Next you want to mix in to a large container with a lid 1 part milk and one part pickle juice.

Add your cubed chicken to the mixture and let marinate for 4-6 hours. I like to let my sit over night in the refrigerator so that my chicken is good and marinated.

Here comes the messy part. Make sure to heat up your grease and get ready to cook your chicken. By now my mouth is beginning to water.  Get a large gallon zip-lock bag and add 2-3 cups flour to 1 cup powered sugar. You can add the seasonings of your preference or it is still yummo with out. Use a slotted spoon and spoon out some of your chicken and put in the zip-lock bag. Seal your bag and shake.

Then scoop your chicken out of the flour mixture and knock off the excess. Place your chicken in the grease and cook until a golden brown.

I like to cut a couple pieces in half to make sure that my chicken is all the way done on the inside.

At this point I Pour my chicken onto a plate with paper towels to help catch the grease. My family never lets me finish cooking before they start eating. They are always sneaking in the kitchen grabbing some. I hope you have enjoyed this post. Any and all of your comments are appreciated as I am new to this blogging.
